My background prior to donning "the suit" includes military and NASA experience, choral and theatrical pursuits, Scouting, volunteer firefighting, raising two kids, and spoiling six grandkids! Diction, enunciation, and relating to audiences owe a lot to acting in Shakespearean and musical theatre.
Additional skills have evolved via decades of choral and folk singing and by delivering singing telegrams!
Dialects, accents, and impersonation fascinate me, and I enjoy playing with them.
