Shameria Ann Davis is a proud Texan and United States Army Captain, Retired with over 20 years of service and for many years; she worked with local, state and government agencies in the United States to administer health and wellness programming, consulting, and coaching. She founded A Davis Consulting – a small consulting firm created for health and wellness consulting for individuals and small businesses in Texas. She earned a B.A. in political science and a B.A. in psychology from the University of Houston. In 2015, she also earned a master’s degree in public health (MPH) from American Military University and holds a few certifications with the American Council on Exercise.
Additionally, in December 2018, Shameria earned the official designation of Certified Public Manager® (CPM), accredited by the National Certified Public Manager Consortium. That same year, she was elected to her first term as Trustee for the Copperas Cove Independent School District and is nearing the end of her 2nd term. Ann is also an avid volunteer with several community organizations, including the Marvelous Mu Delta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and is the President of the Alpha Beta Chapter of Alpha Delta Omega Military Sorority, Inc.
