Davina Marie speaks, jokes, writes

Davina Marie entered the world scene April 18, 1980 to the smiles and laughter of her parent’s friends and family. She cried. She decided to take a stand-up comedy class after her belly dancing troupe broke up. It was love at first stand up. She’s been a regular at open mics around Nashville ever since and even one on Long Island, New York where she received her first applause break. Davina Marie has also been laughed at in restaurant waiting areas, airport security lines, friends’ parties, family get togethers, and comedy showcases. Besides comedy Davina regularly does storytelling on a local show in Nashville. She's also emceed at weddings, fundraisers, meetings and hosted open mics. She's been interviewed on the news, quoted in newspapers, had her poetry published and won money for her essays.
