David Stiewe Comedy

Improv comedy is best known for expecting the unexpected! I will get prompts and stories from the audience and make up scenes and perform improv games based on those suggestions. I specialize in short-form improv, so quick scenes and games make up the entire set. I can also do long-form improv, where I take the suggestions from the audience and make one long improvised show out of that.

As a host or emcee, I aim to keep the atmosphere light and the event moving at a timely pace. I bring humor to the stage, and I provide order and guidance to the event and any other speakers and participants.

David started performing improvisational comedy in 2017 when he was chosen to be one of the founding members of Duck. Duck. Moose! Improv. Since then, David has performs regularly in the Tyler/Longview area, primarily with Duck. Duck. Moose! and at the Understudy Comedy Club. David has hosted and performed emcee duties for several local events, keeping the atmosphere light and the event moving. David also provides acting and voice acting in several projects.

Can perform in a variety of settings, but ideal staging will be a raised stage at least 6' deep x 12' wide. Mounted or hand microphone for hosting or emcee events and body microphone for imrov comedy events is preferred. A minimum of two non-folding, stationary chairs is needed for imrov comedy events.
