People are complicated beings shaped by the sum of their experiences. It’s the small things that shape them in a big way. Nothing is insignificant. "Dark Skinned" is a book some experiences that shaped who I became. You will learn what a dark-skinned black boy faced, because of his darker complexion. It is challenging to get black men to share their experiences. They are supposed to be big, black, and strong all the time. I open up about my experiences and would love to talk about it with you!

David Spencer was born and raised in the great city of Lumberton, NC. A true Newspaper Executive, David has had the privilege of relocating a few times, allowing him to travel and experience the country in a few different states. He embodies a true entrepreneurial spirit.

He is the husband to his best friend Tiffany Spencer and the proud father of three children; Daveah, David Jr., and Amiyah.
David is a graduate of NC Central University holding a B.A. in Ethno-Musicology. He also holds a Masters in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University.
