Keeping Classic Country Music Alive! Singing cover songs from artists such as Johnny Cash, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings to name a few. I also, throw some Southern Rock in my sets as well. I have over 200+ Professional Tracks in my repertoire. I add guitar, fiddle, banjo and mandolin with my performance. For optimal sound quality, I use the Bose Pro Sound System, and have lighting upon request. I am dependable, professional and dedicated to giving you a great performance.

My wife and I hired David for multiple parties. We heard David in a club and were impressed with his authenticity. He's a passionate singer and an over-the-top musical performer. While David is a one man show he can and does play a variety of instruments including guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and banjo. I have a feeling that there isn't an instrument that David can't handle.
David is fun, friendly, and energetic. Many of our friends were left slack jawed by David's talent. He's sings and plays instruments with the intent of pouring out everything in his soul and making sure his audience has fun.

David Long was EXCELLENT! We booked him for a concert in the courtyard at an assisted living and memory care community. Residents, their families and staff were all dancing and singing along to country classics. David was so easy to work with and provided a seamless experience for our community. This was my first time booking with GigSalad and I was blown away by David Long. I was holding a "Nashville Themed" Reception for my company workshop and needed a reliable and impressive artist. David Long exceeded all expectations! He was very easy to work with, punctual, responsive, polite, and, overall, an amazing performer! We were in awe of his singing, guitar playing, and especially the fiddle playing! We hope to use him again soon!

About
David was born and resides in a small town East of Atlanta, called Covington, Georgia. There, David grew up in a very talented and musical household, and by the time he was 12 years old he was playing multiple instruments and was singing and performing in Church with his Family. David spent countless hours as a child listening to and playing along with Albums featuring Johnny Cash, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings just to name a few, honing his musical craft.
However, at an early age, David knew that he wanted to do more with his music and joined a Contemporary/Southern Gospel Group and would spend the next few years traveling and performing at Churches and venues across the State.
David has played and sang in several Country Music bands over the years, but decided to venture out and take his Solo Act on the road along with his Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin and Fiddle. Since then, he hasn't looked back.
David sings with such Heart and Passion and has been dubbed "The Story Teller" as he has the gift to make His audience feel what he is singing down to the core.
Currently, David performs at Restaurants, Bars/Night Clubs, Harley Davidson Dealerships, Biker Rally's, Private and Corporate Events, Birthday's and Holiday events.

Influences and inspiration
I grew up listing to Johnny Cash, George Jones, Hank Sr, Hank Jr. Merl Haggard , Waylon Jennings, Porter Wagner, Willie Nelson, Farron Young, just to name a few of the "oldies". I also was influenced by Alan Jackson, George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Clint Black, Garth Brooks and may others, and I do my very best to keep up with the newer Country Artist as well.
