David showed up to open our Golf Tournament with an hour and a half of bagpipe music. David was on time, ready to go and put a wonderful kick-off to our event with his bagpipe music. Definitely something we want to continue in the future.

David was on time, clearly communicated with me as to what was expected, and played beautifully.
Couldn’t be happier to have his presence and talent.

Loved everything about the experience

David added a great element to this Irish Birthday celebration. So much so that we ended up creating a St. Patrick's Day Parade that was never done in the town.

David became a big part of the overall celebration. I will have him back again.

We loved Mr. Winter and his expertise in piping, yet also his kindness, generosity in assisting us plan the perfect irish programme for my new husband in honoring his gaelic heritage. David helped shape our ideas with his broad knowledge of the local irish musical scene, and was so brilliant in bringing to life the whimsy and gregarious elements of some fantastic old irish pub singing and playing, with an entry that im sure in many ways rivalled the entry of even the very king and queen on their own wedding day. They encapsulated the emerald isle-- and David went so far as to hire additional talent with special surprises in a totally authentic experience with a generous experienced and dramatic team that were all brilliant and sublime, yet totally relate-able and had the grace to be well in the background allowing our guests to mingle with ease and excitement-- they put a buzz in the air of our wedding cocktail hour and very precious, and special Mr. and Mrs. pronouncement entrance-- i could n't have done this without David and his brilliant co-professionals he hired that day! Thank you with all our hearts David!

David provided pipes for my mom’s funeral. He arrived early and stayed late to be available for us. Great music and great send off for mom!

David's contribution to the memorial service of one of our parish members, made it even "more memorable".

David was early to the event to set up, greeted our guests with the war pipes and played the Irish pipes during the service. Goosebumps were had by all. I highly recommend David. Dad's relatives were quite tickled, as they didn't know pipes would be played. Thank you!

David Winter played the bag pipes at father's recent memorial service. We chose him due to his extensive experience and great feedback from others. We were not disappointed. He arrived on time, was very professional in his demeanor and appearance, had the appropriate gravitas for the situation, and offered advice on what tunes would work best given the venue and program. He was flexible in working with the pastor and honor guard, and we received many compliments on his fine performance. We paid a little extra to cover the cost of his travel from Berkeley to Sacramento, and it was well worth it. I highly recommend him.

David Winter was amazing. Everyone enjoyed his music and he was so personable. He took the time to take a group photo and chat with my 97 year old mom. He was amazing.

Many thanks to David for helping to make my daughter's wedding reception special. He played our entrance into dinner with introductions of the wedding party. A special surprise for the newly married couple!

Mr Winter impressed our guests and our brother on his 60th birthday. He entered softly from "offstage" building his level of sound until he reached the pool area where the party was going on...He gave the group a fine performance and brought a very nice ambience to the afternoon.

David played at our candlelight Vigil to Save the Hummingbirds of Guy Place Park and it's precious trees, that provide refuge for wildlife, and the natural habitat and ecosystem that sustains life. David's sensitive playing perfectly fit this occasion, so much so that we will not hesitate to invite him again to reprise.

David arrived early and came through the door precisely at 9PM as arranged. He played several tunes and then the audience provided some additional suggestions which he complied with in a cheery manner. He allowed many photos to be taken and he chatted with the crowd after his playing. He was the hit of the evening. Thank you!!

David Winter was professional, punctual, and flexible with the venue arrangement. He indulged our guests while still playing the pipes for the allotted time. The bagpipes were an essential part of our event, and we were very happy with David's music! We definitely recommend him for others' events.

We had Mr. Winter play the pipes at our wedding. He did a fabulous job, and also provided an excellent sense of humor entertaining guests at the reception. He has a very good repertoire of Scottish bag pipe tunes. His fees are also quite reasonable.
