After taking Classical guitar lessons with Cuban guitarist/professor Elias Barreiro, DAVEED moved to Los Ángeles, CA where he met Jorge Strunz of the acclaimed guitar duo Strunz and Farah, with whom he studied for seven years on an off when Strunz and Farah were not touring. His ability to learn quickly led him to start playing gigs from an early age.
