Dave Wildson

Dave Wildson is a professional magician, balloon twister, and family entertainer bringing comedy, magic, audience participation, and a touch of old-fashioned showmanship to events throughout Edmonton, North Central Alberta, and beyond.

With decades of performing experience, Dave specializes in entertainment that gets people laughing, participating, and wondering, “How did he do that?” His performances are designed for real audiences—not just the person standing onstage—and can be adapted for festivals, community celebrations, corporate and private events, fairs, schools, seniors, and family audiences.

For larger events, Dave presents Professor Wildson’s Magnificent & Marvelous Traveling Magical Show, a colourful throwback to the traveling showmen of another era. Professor Wildson arrives with his top hat, banners, curious contraptions, comedy, magic and juggling, combining the atmosphere of an old-time medicine show and vaudeville performance with modern family entertainment.

Dave also performs close-up and strolling magic, allowing the entertainment to happen right in your guests’ hands. This is ideal for receptions, banquets, hospitality events, parties and situations where guests are mingling rather than seated for a formal show.
Whether performing for a handful of people from a few feet away or entertaining a crowd from the stage, Dave’s emphasis is always the same: make the audience part of the fun and give them something they’ll remember after the event is over.
Based in the Edmonton area and available throughout Alberta and Western Canada.
