What to Expect
I have organized just enough events to feel the pressure of taking on such a task. To be responsible for every speaker, every chair, every technical aspect, as well as the marketing, the guests, and the venue is a job reserved for super heroes.
As a result, you can expect from me, consistent and clear communication, an early arrival, the willingness to stay late, be flexible, and help out when needed. Even if you need help setting up chairs, let me know.
I will be present before the event, be available during, and follow up as needed after.
Of all the things you have to concern yourself with, I make it a point to not be one of those things. :)
When you bring me aboard, it's one less person you need to worry about.
Most don't believe me, but I was a shy timid kid growing up first in Canada and then in the mountains of Colorado. I found my outlet in public speaking and then in acting.
Still, I had to learn how to connect with people, be vulnerable, tell a story - my story - and as I did, I learned I was not alone. I got my degree in Speech Communication with a minor in acting and an emphasis on public communication, business communication, and family communication. I did my honors thesis on communication in dysfunctional relationships.
I moved around a lot, restless and adventurous. I did sales, was a part of start ups, acted, directed, coached and taught public speaking.
From the kid who could barely speak, I'm excited to be an award winning speaker, top sales generator, actor, and proud father.
I coach storytelling, vulnerability, and effective communication to organizations, companies, individuals and families. I have worked with ages 5 to 75.
As founder of Kingfisher, I invite you to join with me on the journey as we wish to connect with each other, make an impact beyond ourselves and be vulnerable to one another building connections rather than barriers.
Let us all encourage one another to be impactful waves that create other impactful waves that transform our world into something better for all of us. I believe we can!
Pricing varies based on package. I'm happy to work as best I can with any budget!
Additional Booking Notes
I don't use slides (or very rarely and will let you know and send beforehand if I do)
A mic is helpful but not necessary as I can project to a large room.
If there is professional recording or pictures, I would like a copy if possible.
My message is about human connection, so technology stays at minimum for my presentations.
