Hiring Dave B for my husband Matt’s 50th birthday was the best decision I made for the entire celebration!
From the beginning, Dave was professional, incredibly responsive, and genuinely invested in making the night special. He took the time to get to know about Matt and understand our audience before the event. He even arrived early to watch the slideshow I had made about Matt so he could learn more about him and really connect with everyone. That extra effort says so much about the kind of performer and professional he is.
And then he absolutely killed it!
Matt and I love stand-up comedy, so I had high hopes, and Dave exceeded them. He is naturally hilarious and has fantastic stage presence. His timing is perfection, he makes great eye contact, interacts with the audience, and knows exactly how to make people feel included without making anyone uncomfortable. Even in casual conversation, you can see how naturally talented and quick-witted he is.
We had about 25 guests, and Dave gave every single one of us the best medicine there is - laughter! I laughed so hard my face actually hurt. 😂 Everyone loved him and continued talking about how funny he was afterward.
Dave went above and beyond what we hired him to do, and I truly could not have been happier. He helped make Matt’s 50th birthday unforgettable.

Dave performed at our annual company Christmas party. He did an excellent job getting a roomful of accountants to laugh! We loved how he interacted with the crowd and incorporated our ugly Christmas sweaters into his material. His material was appealing to various ages of adults within our firm. We would definitely recommend Dave to others.

Dave Bressoud captivates audiences with his energetic stage presence. He actively engages the crowd while sharing his wild and not-so-wild moments.
As a regular performer at the San Jose Improv, Dave has opened for well-known comedians such as Tom Papa, Tom Arnold, and Dry Bar Comedy favorites Brad Upton and Jeff Allen. Following his feature for Tom Arnold, they developed a friendship, and Dave has since opened for him a dozen times throughout California.
Dave made a notable appearance on the Kill Tony Show in San Francisco. He received am open invitation from Tony Hinchcliffe to appear on the popular live podcast anytime. Additionally, he made his television debut on the Hulu show West Coast Comedy and has lent his voice to various local and regional commercials.
