D.A.M is a collective of professional performers who enhance any event with multiple styles of Dance, Stilt Dance (not to be confused with stilt walking), Fire Dance, and Dance Instruction. Our specialties include our Stilt Dance Show and our Stilt Drum Trio, which are guaranteed to entertain and engage your guests. We can also provide Individual Wandering Entertainment acts. We have extensive experience adding our unique flavor to private and corporate parties and events, weddings, festivals, live shows, musical acts, and videos. We travel well and are available for long distance events (with stipulations). When booking us please include the type and number of performers and duration.

October 20, 2018We invited them to an corporate celebration event. Two were on the stilt and 1 on the ground, for Caribbean Carnival Stilt Dance. It was great show and people loved it. Audience were also involved to the dancing.

December 21, 2016I've owned music and theatre venues in San Francisco for the past 15 years. This show was one of the best I've ever seen! Not only was the dancing and costumes extraordinary, but their attitudes and smiles lit up the room. It's as if they were having the best time of their lives. Others I've spoken with say they always deliver this high energy and smiles. They brought pure joy to my client and his guests who had rented the space.
Ok, that was the show. After their performance we talked about what it would take to build ceiling mounts for aerial shows, that's one of their specialties. They advised me, I met with a rigger yesterday. There is now one ceiling mount and we are adding two more.
These artists are so easy to work with and genuine but I was struck by the generosity they offered in helping to make my event space a much better venue.
Thanks to everyone at Daring Arts Movement for creating such a magnificent show and for inspiring me to add more options that will allow my space to grow!!!
I can't wait for the first aerial show as soon as the rigging work is finished!! I'm looking forward to seeing their work with silks, hoops and of course stilts, another one of their specialties. Aerial stilt and hoop shows?? This I gotta see!!

The Stilt Dance Show:
Our Stilt Dance Show offers visually stunning dance choreography on and off stilts, crowd engagement, and photo opportunities for your guests in an action-packed half hour set. Our skilled acrobatic Stilt Dancers combined with our interactive Ground Dancers adorned in beautiful hand-crafted costumes work together to create a show that's guaranteed to entertain and engage any audience and make your event unforgettable. Our base package includes 2 Stilt Dancers and 2 Ground Dancers for a half hour show. Most of our costumes can be altered to be more or less family-friendly depending on your event.

The Stilt Drum Trio:
This package will dazzle your audience with two or more elaborately costumed Stilt Dancers performing a combination of freestyle and choreographed acrobatic Samba dance to music created by our versatile Drummer, who can either play alone or accompany recorded music. This act is mobile and and is sure to get your guests dancing and celebrating along with us. You can choose from the themes listed above or from any of our other costume offerings. This act is great for La Hora Loca, Mardi Gras Events, Weddings and Corporate Events.
Individual Performers:
We specialize in Stilt Dancers, which are not to be confused with your typical stilt walkers, as we are extremely talented when it comes to Enheightening your event. We are specifically trained to masterfully navigate any environment, we bring years of dance, performance, and acrobatic experience to our stilting, and our costumes are hand crafted and one of a kind. We dazzle the crowd with kicks, turns, and acrobatic feats and we love to invite the audience to engage with the use of props, music, and dance.

Daring Arts Movement (D.A.M) was founded in early 2016 by Polly "Pepper" Bates. It is a collective of diverse performers and groups committed to expanding, uplifting, and supporting each other and fostering a collaborative artistic environment in the greater Bay Area. D.A.M creates lively, multi-sensory, immersive experiences for our audiences and students; sparking wonder, awe, accessibility, and learning through the arts.
We specialize in performance arts and instruction and we draw inspiration from around the globe. We work with our clients to create unique performance and educational experiences that ideally draw from a variety of our offerings and allow us to collaborate in new and exciting ways.
We strongly believe art is a powerful tool for healing and uniting diverse communities.
Our Stilt Walkers require a clean out-of-site backstage area or dressing room that includes somewhere sturdy to sit and put on their stilts, a relatively well lit space to perform in with at least 10 feet of height for ambiant roaming performances and 15 feet for acrobatic performances.
Our dancers require a private dressing room with water and a bathroom nearby, and a consistent and reasonable floor or stage to dance on.
Our vocalists may require you to provide a Microphone and P.A. depending on the venue
