Danny Sohn fuses modern style and an old soul.
He is an engaging performer and an award-winning songwriter who recently took home Portland Song of the Year 2015 for West Coast Songwriters.
His sound is eclectic, instantly identifiable and grounded in passion.
He has been compared to compared to various artists from country blues artist Lyle Lovett to the fiery blues of the late Sean Costello, and even to "Jim Croce meets James Taylor".
He performs frequently as a solo act and can accommodate various ensemble needs.

He studied formally with Rob Seals founder of the Songwriting School in Los Angeles and recently with Matt Meghan at Artichoke Music completing both Songwriting as Truth Telling and his Song Forms courses.
