Overview

I am a seasoned guitarist, proficient in several styles. I play pop, rock, classical, jazz, country, and folk. I play solo guitar pieces as well as using a loop pedal to create textures and backgrounds to improvise over. Perfect background music for dinner parties, cocktail parties, and any event where you'd like a pleasing musical ambiance.

Exceptional Performance by Daniel at Our Cocktail Event

We recently hosted a cocktail event, and Daniel, our talented guitarist, was the highlight of the evening. His exceptional skill and versatile repertoire created a sophisticated and enchanting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the event.

Daniel's ability to read the room and adjust his music accordingly was impressive, providing a relaxing and enjoyable backdrop for our guests. He was also professional and personable, taking requests and interacting with attendees during breaks.

What stood out even more was Daniel's dedication; he graciously played longer than planned because our guests were still enjoying the evening. We received numerous compliments about his performance, and many inquired about booking him for their own events.

In summary, Daniel's outstanding performance truly elevated our cocktail event. We highly recommend him for any occasion that requires a touch of elegance and musical excellence.

What to expect

I can offer you one to three hours of pleasing acoustic guitar background music, including solo guitar pieces in pop and classical styles, as well as pop and jazz pieces using a loop pedal.

About

I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old after listening to my parents' Beatles records and falling in love with the music. I started with lessons on acoustic guitar, and soon after got my first electric guitar. It didn't take me long to start developing my rock guitar chops, being heavily influenced by the many rock guitar masters that emerged in the 80s. I later began studying jazz, funk, and country music, which greatly expanded my playing style and versatility.

I studied classical guitar as a teenager at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, then went on to study jazz at Grove School of Music in Los Angeles. I then transferred to UCLA, where I studied music theory and classical performance.

Since graduating, I have played with dozens of original and cover bands in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as duo and solo gigs. I now divide my time between teaching guitar lessons, gigging, and recording sessions.
