Dance Like Fire is the creative project of Little Rock–based artist Arjo Mitra, a movement practitioner and seasoned fire performer.
With years of training in yoga, dance, and martial arts, Arjo weaves elegance, creativity and power into every performance. Backed by over half a decade of professional fire experience, his shows push the frontiers of the craft—merging technical skill with artistry and presence.
Arjo has performed at venues and festivals around the country and alongside acclaimed musical acts such as The Floozies, Of The Trees, and Smith. Beyond the stage, his expertise is recognized within the fire arts community, where he is regularly invited to teach workshops nationwide.

September 9, 2025Arjo has been a staple at Haneywood’s full moon events for years. And with each appearance his awe inspiring preferences grow more and more exciting. He is a magician with movement. Arjo is as fluid as the fire with which he moves so effortlessly. His show stopping abilities are sure to add elation to any event.

August 18, 2025Arjo has performed at our annual Universal Vibe festival for the past four years. His unique flow and style are truly something special and super entertaining! We also hire Arjo to be our Fire Coordinator for our last festival. He was in charge of hiring other performers, creating group choreographed performances and themed costumes, fire safety, and much! Arjo is sweet, understanding, and professional. He made our job easier, and has added so much to our event. Hire this man!

August 7, 2025My team at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks recently had Dance Like Fire perform at one of our largest annual events and we absolutely loved having him and his team! Not only were the families enthralled by the performance, but Arjo and his team were so energetic during the set and as they mingled with the crowd before and after. They took all the necessary precautions to keep the crowd and their team safe. Our patrons gave us so many compliments on our choice to book Dance Like Fire.
