Dan was amazingly talented and super easy to work with. Polite, professional, and anointed. We had a power outage in mid song and he kept going and the entire church kept singing until the power came back on. He didn’t miss a beat! I’ve already booked him again.

May 16, 2021Dan Totally Nailed It!!
My siblings and I hired Dan to sing at our father’s funeral mass, and he did a spectacular job!! It was slightly out of his element in that it was a Catholic mass, but he was completely prepared with each hymn, and he made sure he understood when to sing each one during the mass. He sang each one so beautifully that we got several comments from family members wondering how we found such a great singer. I also loved how conscientious Dan was in checking out the facility, arriving early, and asking all the right questions to make sure he understood everything. Also, Dan has a very friendly and engaging personality making him really fun to work with! Our experience with Dan was just super, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him for any event. I know we will keep him in mind for the future when we need a singer at an event! Thank you so much Dan for making our father’s funeral so much more special!!

About
Acclaimed Canadian-born worship leader and singer/songwriter Dan Macaulay, is a GMA Canada Covenant Award winner and nine-time nominee, with songs being sung by churches and played on radio around the world.
As a pastor for 8 years, and having led worship in venues across Canada, the U.S., and internationally for 25+ years, Dan now lives in Williamsville NY, and takes his considerable pastoral and worship-leading experience with him on the road serving churches of all shapes and sizes. With a mix of musical and teaching gifts, Dan can be found out leading worship, teaching, and speaking full time, often in serious and church contexts but sometimes even touring with comedians and doing fun songs and comedy!
Happily married for 18 years to Danielle, with two sons, Keaton and Braden, one of Dan’s latest songs, “As For Me And My House” (sung by 7 year old Keaton) won 2017 “Children’s Song of The Year” at the 2017 GMA Canada Covenant Awards. Dan’s latest full album, “From You For You” also received five nominations (Canada’s Dove Awards) including “2012 Praise & Worship Album of the Year”. Worship Leader Magazine gave Dan’s latest CD a four star review, and CCM Magazine called Dan “One of those guys you may not have heard of…but you should!”
Dan and his wife Danielle are also regulars on the Canadian Christian marriage TV show called "A Better Us" which can be viewed in the U.S. online on YouTube!

For concerts with entertainment value Dan will use his original music and for suitable settings, Dan can mix in fun singalong as well - like love songs from years gone by and TV theme songs, as well as some comedy.
When leading worship, Dan can likes to check in ahead of time and find out what songs are familiar to a group and major on those for maximum crowd participation. Some original worship music can be mixed in or omitted as desired.
