Thanks much! It was cold. It was windy. But the sun was shining and it wasn't snowing. People were smiling and laughing. Fun parade. Very well organized. I hope to see you again sometime!

Dan Kirk was fantastic! He performed for our group of deer farmers, who are not easy to entertain and tend to talk through speakers' presentations. Not only did everyone actually watch, they participated! We appreciated the family-friendly content very much. Great show, highly recommended. I've recommended him already to several people.

What to expect
Audience members will experience blissful moments of joy. Some tingling may be present at times. Tears of joy sometime appear in a select group of women. The big boys don't seem to cry.
Dan has been told by an audience member after the show, "My cheeks still hurt from laughing!". He had no choice but to believe her.
LaVonne Hammans the Madisonian Features Editor for the Madisonian newspaper in small town, Winterset, IA wrote the following after the Lions sponsored 50th Annual Variety Show, "Juggler Dan Kirk brought professional pizazz, laughs and juggling feats to the stage. With great clowning and talented juggling, Kirk held the audience in the palm of his hand."
Dan's stage performances consist of original comic juggling routines. Audience participation and the use of volunteers help make each performance unique. Dan can juggle lots of stuff, and we all know it's not how many you can do or even what you can do, it's how you do it. Dan does it right. His experience as a performer means he has seen it all and he has the means to exceed your highest expectations.
Dan would love to speak to your group about living with anxiety. It's hard to believe that a performer such as Dan would have issues with anxiety but it's true. He'll share his inspiring story: Living With Anxiety - Excuse Me, Where's the Bathroom?

Dan came into this earth cold, crying and wet, on December 14, 1966 in Neenah, WI. This was his first juggling experience. After being dropped by the doctor several times, Dan knew that his life would consist of picking things up. Dan didn't actually learn to juggle three balls until he was sixteen. He practiced hard for two years then poof! He was an adult and he had to prepare for the real world. After a great childhood, Dan shipped off to UW Stevens Point where he would study to become a chemist. Fortunately for the chemistry world, Dan quickly tired of balancing chemical equations and changed his major to printing and publishing. After experiencing many layoffs in the printing industry, God spoke to Daniel and told him to be a juggler. With that in mind Dan stepped out of the real world and into the performing world. After finding a pair of yellow shoes on sale in a mall Dan knew he was ready for whatever lay ahead.
Dan Kirk is now a full-time professional juggler, entertainer, speaker, and teacher of the art who resides in Menasha, WI. Dan's stage performances always include exciting family oriented comedy routines, a wide variety of juggling, zany balloon twisting, and the use of audience members. Flaming sticks of eminent death and the blood sucking machetes of disaster are not juggled in elementary schools, but fair attendees and middle school students love the sight. Dan learned to juggle in the summer of 1983. He began performing in 1987, and in 1993 he began touring full-time. Dan was featured on the cover of "Guideposts" magazine in 1994. "Guideposts" has the largest circulation of spiritual magazines in the country! In 1995 Dan starred in "Just Juggle," an exciting instructional juggling video which is now sold out. In 2008 Dan was on America's Got Talent. In 2013 Dan was a featured performer on a television commercial that starred Dale Ernhardt Jr. With over 3,456 performances throughout fifteen states, Dan Kirk, The Juggler With The Yellow Shoes, is sure to be a hit. Dan provides comic juggling at its best!
Along with performing for fairs, festivals, and corporate functions, Dan enjoys bringing educational programs to schools and libraries throughout the Midwest and beyond. Dan has developed a reading program where he promotes reading throughout his show. He also has a very popular "Science of Juggling" program which the schools really enjoy and his most popular "STOP Bullying" program. Being a Christian, Dan likes to perform for church groups too. For booking information contact the Midwest Juggling Company.
In his spare time Dan enjoys fishing. He's also a part time fishing guide. Dan has a wife, Susan, and 3 grown children. Plus they have an adorable little dog named, Bobber. They currently live in Menasha, WI.
Additional booking notes
For juggling performances, Dan needs approx. 10'x 16' of performing space with a minimum 9' ceiling height in most cases. When Dan drives to an event you will have no extra costs as Dan will bring all microphones, speakers, props and everything that goes in between. A well lit performing area is also needed.
When Dan flies to an event he will need all lighting and sound to be provided. A direct box on stage so Dan can operate his iPod is also needed. Dan requires a wireless lavalier microphone.
For speaking engagements, Dan would like a headset microphone or a lavalier microphone and a small table. If only a hand held microphone is available then a mic stand will also be needed.
