As a client/audience member, you can expect a number of things from a performance by Dan Julien & his group. His view is to build music as an EXPERIENCE, for everyone involved. This means, creating more than "just music", but a spectacle/an event with a palpable excitement to it. As the frontman/vocalist of the show, Dan provides a fun, light, and comedic environment to suit your needs.

Additionally, his relationship with his players/team, is very amicable, and they play off each other, creating a unique vibe for each performance. We provide a professional & clean look to any black tie event, show, wedding, as well as a casual cocktail hour.

Dan Julien is a Canadian jazz singer, actor, and overall musical entertainer hailing from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He currently resides in Toronto, ON where he works with a number of musicians in the local scene, including a quintet he plays with.

Dan’s musical training has exposed him to a variety of genres including: classical, folklore, pop, country, and his current passion for the legendary jazz singers from the 1950s onward.
In particular, world famous crooners like Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin, et al, have influenced Dan to perform his colourful renditions of their celebrated songs.

Despite Dan’s admiration for the “crooners” and other singers, his performances reflect his unique, creative and original style. His soulful & crisp voice, coupled with a fantastic ensemble will bring to life a collection of music that can be the perfect fit for your special day, corporate event, or simply a party!

We can provide a show with the following:

-Instrumentation available are as follows : Double Bass, Saxophone (Alto or Bari), Drums, Guitar, Trombone, Trumpet, Piano, Vocals, Violin, Viola.
- Ability to perform with a house band you've chosen as simply the Vocalist.
-Can perform as a DUO, TRIO, or larger group to fit your event.
-Lighting/Sound/Equipment can be discussed upon booking.
