Dalton Sessumes

I like to be calm and organized as much as possible with my performances, however I am also highly capable of going with the flow and understanding what needs to be done on the fly. I communicate quickly and effectively with clients, and I am honest and straightforward about every aspect of my service, especially if it affects others (i.e. fire safety, space, costuming, and environment). I have worked both as instructor and coordinator of fire performances in large scale environments, and I will use all of the skills I've learned to make your event go off as fluidly, purposefully, and, of course, as fun as possible.

Dalton is an Austin, Texas circus artist with experience in everything from quantum particle detectors to fire breathing. He found performing arts ten years ago while completing his M.S. in quantum physics, subsequently finding success with teams like Cirque du Soleil and Electric Daisy Carnival both nationally and abroad. Now, Dalton loves innovating with leviwand performance, immersive experiences, and state-of-the-art technologies to bring something altogether unique to the world of performing arts. He hopes that by sharing his passion, others will recognize their own ability to live a life of their own imagination. Dalton founded and directs MindWorks, an entertainment company centered on the intersection of circus arts and emerging technologies. Dalton co-founded Astra, an innovative production company creating immersive circus shows worldwide.

My LED performances are very flexible with respect to space and setup. I have danced in crowds for atmosphere, on platforms, and on stages and all have worked equally well. Fire performances require a circular space with an average diameter of 20 ft. If I will be performing with fire indoors, the room must have proper ventilation and be up to your local fire code.
