Dalia the Viola Player
Overview
I am a viola player. I have been playing viola for 15+ years. I mainly play viola in church. I am looking to play in weddings and events if a viola is needed. I am also learning both the guitar and the electric bass.

What to expect
Viola is my primary instrument. I love playing with other strings and groups in general. I have been told that I "fill the sound." I feel like I shine the most when I play with string quartets in particular with harmonies. I am able to transcribe music for alto clef since I do it regularly for church. I can read treble clef music as well as bass clef. Bass is something I struggle with a little more and I do struggle with bass still, but I am getting there and learning a lot from others each time I rehearse with groups! However, I do enjoy the bass a lot. I also like singing sometimes.
I am willing to play almost any genre with clients; I love all of it. The thing that matters most to me is lyrical content, so I love it when bands come up with songs that have music that is soulful, poetic, and impactful. Though, sometimes adult, substance abuse, and violence themes could be uncomfortable for me depending on how it is presented. Don't let it be a dealbreaker, though! I am willing to take it case by case since sometimes these themes might be conducive to sending a lesson or point to the audience.
About
Viola player of 15+ years, formally taught through school and active in Catholic church choir. Currently learning the bass for 2 years self-taught. Open to gigs for both.
Additional booking notes
Viola: I have a wooden instrument so I will need a good mic if I perform live, especially if there are louder instruments nearby
Bass: I own a 100W Fender Rumble; it might not be enough for certain venues with loud genres.
