“Chad,
He was wonderful. Sounded so much like Frank Sinatra. He was the perfect entertainer for our 100th Birthday girl. ”
Dale Sechrest - An Evening of Harry Chapin Music
Overview
AN AUTHENTIC HARRY CHAPIN CONCERT EXPERIENCE
"Dale was channeling Harry tonight! I knew this was going to be good, but I didn’t know it would be that great." — This isn't an impersonation act; it's a theatrical recreation of the 1970s "Power Folk" legacy.
We don’t just play the songs; we recreate the legendary atmosphere of a Harry Chapin concert in its original spirit.
Our professional quartet (Acoustic Guitar, Cello, Bass, and Drums) performs with the storyteller rapport Harry was famous for. From the "30,000 Pounds of Bananas" chorus to the acapella "Mail Order Annie," we deliver a "priceless" experience that took our SOLD OUT debut audience right back to the 70s.

About
Harry Chapin Tribute
The Music Behind the Man
"Note on Performance: This is a musical and theatrical recreation, not a vocal imitation. While I do not 'sound' like Harry, we perform his arrangements in their original keys and recreate the specific stagecraft, stories, and audience interactions that defined a Chapin concert."
Dale Sechrest and his quartet deliver a 1:1 theatrical recreation of a Harry Chapin performance. We focus on the musical integrity and storyteller rapport that made Harry’s live shows legendary.
What to Expect:
* The Original Sound: Our lineup mirrors Harry’s classic quartet, featuring the haunting cello melodies that defined hits like "Taxi" and "Mr. Tanner".
* The Theatricality: We replicate Harry’s signature stage moves, including the un-mic'd, acapella walk into the heart of the audience for "Mail Order Annie".
* The Community: Just as Harry did, we turn the room into a "living room with 500 best friends," leading the iconic "Circle" and "30,000 Pounds of Bananas".
PERFORMANCE OPTIONS:

Professional Production for Every Venue:
Whether it’s an intimate House Concert or a high-impact Corporate Gala, we tailor the "Storyteller" experience to fit the room.
