November 18, 2024Ahna was so great! She was really awesome interacting with the kids, and her face painting designs were fabulous.. she's a very talented. She was also easy to communicate with prior to the event, and very professional. We would definitely hire DAHC again. This was a great experience for our team/corporate family event :-)

September 30, 2024What a great team! We had 2 folks for a family fun day- one for face paint and one for henna. They had a line going for the full 3 hours we had them booked. They were super professional, arrived on time (and early!), and so kind with all the kids. Would highly recommend!

June 30, 2024The artist we hired to paint faces for our event showed up roughly 30 minutes early which wasn’t a problem. Without us asking she chose to begin working before the contracted time and then asked if she still needed to stay until the end time we contracted for. She did stay until the contracted end time and her work was very good. She painted but didn’t have a great bedside manner or interaction with the children. The second issue was when a few adults wanted to have their faces painted she commented to more than one that she didn’t plan on painting adults. Our contract was for 2 hours of unlimited painting period. There was no age restriction. We received feedback from our guests that were put off by the artists verbal response to more than one adult in line. In the end as the host of the event her poor attitude reflected poorly on us. We won’t be hiring here again.

DAHC Art is an acronym for Designers Artists and Human Canvases. We are a community of artist who specialize in creating art using mixed media and body paint on a human canvas. We believe in body positivity and invite all good energy beings to our wonderful world of color. We offer a wide range of services, and classes for all ages. We host monthly jams where artists can collaborate and create with one another.
Owner, Ahna Gell grew up in Chelsea & Beverly MA. She is an SFX Makeup Artist and Face/Body Painter who has been in the industry for 13 years. Ahna has learned and continues to learn so much about face/body painting, SFX movie makeup, prosthetics and prop design. Ahna is the Owner and lead artist at DAHC Art.
She enjoys teaching beginner students and breaks her lessons down into simple parts anyone can follow. Her work can be seen in Adam Sandler's Hubie Halloween on Netflix, Orlando International Fashion Week, Boston Pride- Pulse Orlando, Fright before Christmas on the Travel Channel, Fright Kingdom Indoor Scream Park, Ice Nine Kills Promo Videos, Halloween Bash for Trent Brown of the Patriots or on her social media pages like TikTok & Instagram.
