Cut Drug Bills, Feel Better, Live Longer
Overview
At a time when medical care has been misnamed as healthcare, we should appreciate Dr. Breslow's discovery (UCLA) that 7 Simple Health Habits make a 30-year difference in those who observe or break all seven.
Hi--I'm Dr. Richard Ruhling, board-certified in Internal Medicine and a Cardiology Fellowship before teaching Health Science at Loma Linda University. While teaching mid-70's, Pritikin reported reversing heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes by diet. Nutrition is the first of 7 health habits represented by the acronym, NEW START, and the PowerPoint program I offer is "the best in the wellness area" (Blue Cross testimonial). NEW START can reverse most disease, I'll send a link

What to expect
As an expert, not just in medicine, but healthcare that can reverse the disease processes that have become chronic, I can give a focus on lifestyle summarized by NEW START. This acronym fits Dr. Lester Breslow's 7 Simple Health Habits that offer a 30-year advantage between those who observe or who break all 7 "Golden Rules of Health." A picture is worth 1000 words and I can send one that summarizes.
The president of the Mended Hearts Club (after bypass surgery) told his group that he spend $12,000 at the Longevity Center in California, but if you attend the Total Health Seminar by Dr. Ruhling, you get about the same for a fraction of the cost. My PowerPoint Seminar is packed with information and I can fit most time-frames, 60-90 minutes being optimal with a screen, but can do 30-minutes after luncheon without a screen.
About
Richard Ruhling, MD, MPH finished Internal Medicine at University of Arizona, Tucson and a Cardiology Fellowship at Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix, before teaching Health Science at Loma Linda University where he was responsible for Executive Health.
While teaching, he attended a cardiology convention where Nathan Pritikin reported reversing high blood pressure--85% got off their drugs on his diet and exercise program. Similar numbers were reported for diabetics and heart disease. Ruhling had confirmation when an executive was called a "walking time-bomb" by his cardiologist, but Ruhling told him about the diet and five months later, his treadmill stress test had normalized.
A nurse taking 80 units of insulin a day reduced her dosage to 18 units with diet and exercise. Additional information is offered on a 1-sheet sent on inquiry.
Additional booking notes
Depends on venue--screen with PowerPoint is optimal but can speak without it and allow Q&A.
Back of the room sales is a plus because half of what people learn is gone an hour later.
Services offered
Influences and inspiration
Highly qualified medical training
Teaching Health Science at Loma Linda University, under Dean, Dr. Mervyn Hardinge in a progressive program granting Dr. of Health Science degrees in a 3-year program where graduates do not write prescriptions for drugs, but prescribe lifestyle changes--how to stop smoking, the better weight, coping with stress, nutritional cooking classes, etc.
Setup requirements
If this is not a dinner somewhere without a screen, that is helpful along with a video projector or I can bring mine to use with my laptop.
