Mary Faith Williams, soprano and pianist, is employed at Falls Baptist Music School where she directs the elementary and middle school choirs, which were featured at the 2015 Wisconsin Governor’s Inauguration and have released a recording, Thou Art My God. She oversees the piano department at Baptist College of Ministry and Falls Baptist Music School, teaching private and group piano lessons. She also teaches courses on arranging and improvising. Mary is the creative director for the various interactive music school concerts, including the annual community favorite - A Christmas Spectacular.
From elementary through high school, she won numerous awards in violin, voice, and piano, including first place in the Chopin Piano Competition hosted in Milwaukee. In 2007, she performed Grieg’s A Minor Concerto with the Wisconsin Philharmonic as the winner of the Chapman Piano Competition. Most recently, she has enjoyed presenting her research findings on piano sight reading at the National Conference of Keyboard Pedagogy and music teacher conventions in the Midwest. From that research, she created a beginner piano curriculum with her colleagues. She has written multiple original works and arrangements for treble voices, piano, and various ensembles which are featured in sheet music and recordings published through Everlasting Praise Publications. Most recently she has collaborated with her brother Daniel to write a 280-minute orchestrated film score for a docuseries.
