Overview

Acoustic duo. Tasty harmonies. It's time to get back to the roots of America's music with timeless twangy sounds of folk, old country, and folk-rock from the 60's to today. Beyond the music, this duo brings energy, soul, and is ready to connect with everyone they encounter.

The real friggin’ deal

These guys blew our crowd away. They played an early show for us and we’re incredible engaging with the audience. I thought perhaps they would be background music but they were magnetic, energetic, and fun. Can’t think of a venue or crowd where they wouldn’t fit!

About

Over a decade ago, Crosby & Ellender began as a friendship at a wilderness camp tucked in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina. Between whitewater paddling and philosophical discourses, these two wandering hearts developed a shared love for making music together.

Gigging around the local Steubenville, OH bars is where the duo sharpened their chops, shaped their sound, and developed a devoted community. Crosby’s front porch became a hub of laughter and song as they strummed their acoustics well into the night. Relationship is the cornerstone of their musical pursuits. "We trust that in telling our story we’re telling everyone’s.”

A cascading series of fortunate events allowed them to work with Grammy nominated sound engineer Jacques DeLatour to record their debut album “Suffering to Pearls”, released in December 2022. While they continue to write, record, and perform original music in Baton Rouge, they are excited to play great cover music and connect with the local music lovers at YOUR next event!
