Crooner Ed shows feature a great mix of popular uptempo big band styled songs, tender ballads, great story telling, and a fun, engaging sense of humor. Audiences love his interactive videos playing behind him on a big screen(s) for every song -- they are an integral part of the show and people love them. Ed's performance style is much like the golden age of crooners when Sinatra and Martin played for the crowd with great music, smooth vocals, and a fun, engaging personality. You'll feel like you've made a new friend.

Almost all Crooner Ed shows are just him, along with his terrific videos. For those extra special engagements, Ed can bring all or part of his talented jazz ensemble.

Eddie Thompson - CroonerEd - is a professional musician and entertainer. He grew up in a singing family where they performed around the country and recorded Thompson Family albums. At age 17, Ed won a nation-wide talent competition sponsored by the Gospel Music Association earning his first recording contract. He's since recorded several CDs, toured with amazing artists like Grammy Award winner Bob Carlisle (of "Butterfly Kisses" fame), had several charted radio singles, performed all over the USA, "donated" two knees to his college football team, and wrote a book titled, "Monkeys In My Coconut Tree" (2016 Readers Favorite Silver Medal winner). His popular YouTube channel enjoys millions of views and his FaceBook and Instagram accounts are fun and active. His latest album, "A CroonerEd Christmas" found it's way onto thousands of streams throughout the world.

--A typical shows go for 60 to 90 minutes, however, each show is tailor made to fit your needs. For longer shows Ed usually take 10 to 15 minute breaks for each hour of entertainment.
-- He has several different video screens to fit different venues. As a minimum, he needs 10' or more of space for the video screen, but has squeezed into smaller spaces. When possible, he's happy to use in-house video screens.
--For local area smaller events, Ed brings all my required audio and visual equipment needed. For larger events, please see his performance rider.
--Ed likes to arrive at least 90 minutes prior to start time to get set up. Break-down is usually faster.
--A changing room is much appreciated as Ed is often his own roadie.
