April 6, 2014Excellent and a must have for your event!
I am the entertainment coordinator of a high profile event and needed the perfect family entertainment for over 5,000 attendees, and I needed reliability, quality and professionalis. Mag by Enigma delivered on all that includingfollowing up on details leading up to my event to wonderfully doing the best job I I could haveasked for. He was early to the gig, understood the job and catered to the atmosphere and created an excitement for all the families and children. I highly recommend Magic by Enigma for your next important function, he will definitely be at ours, and many more from the people that enjoyed him at our event.

About
Howdy! Criswell here — variety entertainer, comedy magician, and one of the last genuine vaudeville-style performers working today. Think Red Skelton meets Bob Hope with a deck of cards and one stupid stunt.
32 years performing professionally. Touring cast of The Magician’s Table. Featured at Monday Night Magic in New York City — the longest-running off-Broadway magic show — and Nashville’s House of Cards. Kenny Wallace has said kind things about my work over the years, and MLB veteran Michael Barrett called me “hilarious and a great performer” on camera.
I perform close-up strolling magic, stand-up comedy, stage shows, and yes — one stupid sideshow stunt. Your guests will be talking about it Monday morning.

Influences and inspiration
Criswell's performance style is inspired by the golden age of vaudeville, traveling medicine shows, and classic American entertainers who knew how to captivate an audience. His influences include Harry Anderson, The Marx Brothers, Abbott and Costello, Buster Keaton, W.C. Fields, Red Skelton, Johnny Carson, and Penn & Teller. Drawing from these legendary performers, Criswell combines comedy, storytelling, audience interaction, and world-class sleight of hand to create a show that feels both timeless and uniquely his own.
