Jacques-Pierre Malan started his Creativecello performing business for those who loves the cello. If you want a cellist at your wedding, function or event contact JP. He will organize more then just cello solo performances (which is his specialty). JP can also bring a string quartet or string trio to your event as well as also harp, saxophone, solo violin and more. JP is not just a solo cellist, he has a team of musicians who works with him to play gigs all over town as well as the United States.
Primarily from South Africa, JP lives in Baltimore where he received a Masters in Music at Peabody Conservatory and performs primarily on the East coast.
CreativeCello made our intimate wedding incredibly special and meaningful! Everyone from the photographer to my parents raved about their performance, and even got their information to book. I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience- thank you so much!
JP was game to play at my last-minute outdoor winter wedding and he was an absolute pro. He helped me make song decisions and even did a special medley of requested songs. He was prompt, communicative and thoughtful throughout the process — thank you jp!
Jacques Pierre Malian put together a wonderful concert of classical music for a memorial service for my wife. I would hire him again. The pianist was also very strong. Together they did a great job. My neighbors are inviting me to organize a house concert to follow - everyone loved it.
great selection of cello music, nice mix of classics and new to us material
JP and his colleagues are outstanding musicians and professionals. I knew when I listened to performances on YouTube that it would be a great experience, we never imagined that the quartets music would set the tone for what became a most memorable wedding ceremony and evening. He is very responsive to questions and recommendations and handled everything with grace keeping in mind our venue, guests while respecting the sensitivity of an inter-faith, same sex ceremony. We will remember JP and will follow his successful career. I highly recommend this quartet! Thank you for making our wedding the best day of our lives!

Working with JP of CreativeCello was wonderful. He was extremely professional, responsive, and reliable. His music was beautiful and provided the perfect accent to our corporate reception. I would hire him again any time and hope that I have the opportunity to do so. Highly recommend.
Response from CreativeCello:
Thank you for the great review and we are looking forward working with you again!
They were great. Responsive to our requests and obviously very accomplished mysicians. Would definitely recommend them and hire them again if the occasion arose
