CORRESPONDENCE
After your initial contact and show details are determined, we provide a contract via email for your review. A performance deposit is required, and we begin rehearsals, prop construction, costuming, and music selections. As the event nears, you’ll receive progress updates and promotional material as needed. You may also contact us about changes, event developments & adjustments, onsite coordinator contact info, etc.

PRE-SHOW SETUP
For private events, we arrive 30 min-1 hour prior to start to meet the onsite coordinator, assess show area, making adjustments for space/height constraints, traffic flow, fuel location, sound/lights...
For roving shows, we assess the event landscape for natural flowing show-enhancement environments. (ie: performing near a swimming pool, balcony, onstage, etc.)
For public events, we arrive even earlier, to meet with onsite Fire officials for safety demonstrations. *For film shoots and large production projects, pre-show call times may be greater.

THE SHOW
Though we've done almost everything, Our most common formats tend to be one of the following:

* Background ambient performers to existing event themes.

* Roving interactive artists who engage with the crowd in smaller vignettes.

* Feature presentation, ranging from 5 minutes to 40 minute multi-artist shows.

* Strictly environmental. Centralized fire sculptures, fire pits, or stationary art for decor, which don't involve traditional show performance.

* Wedding and Sacred fire ceremonies. Similar to the wedding candle lighting, only bigger.

POST-SHOW
After the show, performers may remain to greet guests, meet the host or guest of honor, pose for photos, or take questions, when permitted or predetermined. We remove all expendables from site.

COSTUMING
Costumes are appropriate to event themes, age range, or cultural sensitivities. Special costume requests are handled during the contact process. When no event theme requests have been made, we commonly perform in a Modern Tribal attire; A versatile costuming option, which borrows ornamentation from, and appeals to a broad range of cultures.

MUSIC
Most often, we play our music on systems provided by the client, unless otherwise determined during contract. When performing during live music acts, we may integrate with the act, or perform during intermissions. Music is theme-driven and suitable for the specified demographic. When no specific music requests are made, we perform to a fast-paced, percussive tribal electronic music. Music samples/options provided by request. We may also perform with live drummers or musical entourage, also determined during contract.

Whether it's FIRE, Juggling, Stilts, Sideshow, Variety, Unicycle, Whips, hula hoops, Island Hula/Fire, Pirate stuff, we want to do the show & travel everywhere to do it.

Fire may be our preferred medium of expression, but that's only the tip of the iceberg. Everything we do looks just as awesome in its unlit form. Then comes the themes. We've created shows from Island Hula Fusion, to Tribal Warrior, to Pirates, and old time classic Cabaret. Seriously, we've done it all.
We're proud to be fully insured, with a decade of experience in performance & crowd engagement, and have one of the largest fire tool/effect options available in this art form. We know fire.

Creator/Director Sebastian Gomez has created theatrical presentations in 30 countries, and across the USA, and speaks to every client directly about their event, to help tailor the absolute best show dynamic for each unique event.

Having performed for the likes of Bayer, Harley Davidson, Zappos, HP, Marriott, Universal Studios, Shakira, the Sultanate of Oman, hundreds of weddings, Universities, corporate and private events, Creative Flame continues its goal of presenting dynamic, entertaining fire and circus shows to the world.

Getting his start as a street-performer in Europe, Sebastian learned quickly the importance of engaging the audience. It's not just a show to be absorbed. It's an experience that the audience has to feel involved in... We engage the crowd for the full experience, and something they won't soon forget.

Artists utilize various methods of object manipulation, acrobatic and circus skills/ apparatus in compliance with fire performance safety standards set forth by NAFAA (North American Fire Arts Assoc.) Stage/set/time adjustments to ensure maximum safety of audience/performers may be mutually discussed between performers and Onsite Coordinator, with appropriate changes, when possible, made during initial walk-through before the performance.
