It was all a dream.
We started Creamy Boys with a mission to bring New Zealand’s best kept secret the United States. This delicious style of ice cream is what we grew up eating on our lunch breaks from our parents apple orchard, and now we can offer it here in the U.S.A. in our ice cream shop and ice cream trucks and carts.
It is a simple recipe. Every serving is made-to-order with a base of vanilla ice cream – dairy or non-dairy – blended on the spot with your choice of frozen fruit, especially berries; or hokey pokey, our house-made honeycomb toffee.
We use high quality ingredients, which creates a creamy, refreshing and delicious soft-serve ice cream.
In 2020, Duncan bought an ice cream truck in Arkansas and towed it home to remodel and sell ice cream in Venice Beach. Soon Creamy Boys was working events around Los Angeles such as Smorgasburg. Fast forward to 2024, and we have a shop in Hermosa Beach and offer catering and event services throughout greater Los Angeles.
We’re stoked with the journey and excited for what’s ahead on the ice cream journey. Cream on!
We have a size for every event. Both our super cute catering carts and trailers serve our full menu (including vegan options for all flavors) and operate from batteries, meaning no power cables, noise or fumes!
Our LA County Permitted trailer is 8’ x 15’, can serve up to 500 guests. Too big? No problem. Our cart is 5’ x 3’, perfect for backyards, indoors and upstairs, and can serve 200+ guests.
