I move through the room, photograph candid interactions and key moments, and step in to organize group photos or other posed requests when needed. I’m comfortable working with guests, speakers, and event staff, and I help people relax in front of the camera.

After the event, you’ll receive a gallery of professionally edited, high-resolution photos. I overshoot and overdeliver, with no strict maximum on the number of images.

I’m Craig Root, a Phoenix-based photographer specializing in weddings, corporate events, conferences, and private celebrations. I enjoy working with people as much as I enjoy making photographs. I don’t require special lighting, staging, or sound equipment. I bring my own professional camera and lighting gear and adapt to the conditions on site. Access to the areas being photographed and a schedule of key moments are helpful so I can plan coverage. I use professional editing tools to prepare the final images.
