Craig Cook and The Marauders

Craig Cook, who grew up around music in the small town of Oswego, KS, spent most of his childhood backstage following his father Rick Cook of “Rick Cook and Seminole” to venues around the four-state area.

When the time came for Cook to join his father on stage and start singing a few tunes it was apparent that he would never look back. It was in early 2009 when things began to come together and he formed his own group.

Cook now heads Craig Cook and the Marauders, a group that fuses classic country, red dirt and rock. He's cut his teeth in pubs, music halls, fairs and festivals for barflies, young ears and everything in between.

Since releasing his debut album in April of 2012 Cook has relocated to Fort Worth, Texas in hopes of making a name for himself. He has shared the stage with the likes of Restless Heart, Jason Boland, Evan Felker (Turnpike Troubadours), Bo Phillips, and Casey Donahew Band, some of the biggest regional acts around.
His catalogue of music includes a mix of handcrafted originals and the kind of covers you know from the first note played. There is no club to small or venue to big, anywhere at any time.
