Best Classic Rock This Side of the Mississippi!

Cover Story was exactly what we were looking for - Great Musicians, but also a bunch of fun, nice guys who were obviously there to entertain us. They played a wide variety a genres, took a few of our requests, and were very easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone looking to impress their guests, especially those who favor popular classic rock!

About

Cover Story is a “cover band” that focuses primarily on classic rock with forays into blues, country, and a variety of other genres.

Cover Story’s lead guitarist Chris Feuk was too busy working as a geophysicist and raising a family to pursue his true passion of playing in a band. Having recently retired, he is living the dream…

Mark Tiller is the band’s drummer and lead singer. He has been a long-time college administrator at HCC and is a political science professor there now. He enjoys entertaining, whether as a moderator, a standup comedian, a chef, a host, or performing in the classroom with his students and now with his Cover Story audiences.

James Thomas performs on vocals, guitar, keyboard, harmonica, sound effects, and most notably, is a master cowbellist! From Marine to repo-man, to nearly 40 years as an historian and also a professor at HCC, James is back to his musical roots, singing and playing guitar w his friends.

Stephen Jump is an Economics teacher by day and a bass player by night. Formerly in a punk rock band, he has seen the light and has found his home plucking out some groovy fills in Cover Story’s classic rock band.

Cover Story was formed about a year ago and has been playing private parties, bars and clubs, neighborhood organizations, and other events— and is always looking for new fans and to expand its base!
