​Throughout the years, Erick Hershey has performed in a number of styles, beginning in classical magic. After relocating near his ancestral home in beautiful Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, he themed his magic to reflect his country roots. ‘Country Conjuring Magic!’ was born, showcasing the laid-back fun of country living. The act features magic designed to take the audience out of the world of reality, and into the world of illusion. He performs bright, visual magic for all ages, with wide-eyed astonishment and laughter the key ingredients.
Erick has performed professionally for over 35 years, and is an active member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, and the Society of American Magicians. His performances vary from stage shows, to business promotions, to “strolling” event magic, but his specialty is children’s magic. Erick’s shows are upbeat, fun, lighthearted events, and he makes sure that even his adult shows are family-friendly.
He has performed in numerous venues from coast-to-coast, throughout the United States. His travels have also taken him through the United Kingdom, Central and Eastern Europe, including a personal invitation to tour the prestigious Magic Circle in London, England.
Calling upon his background as a professional scenic sculptor and carpenter, Erick designs and builds many of his one-of-a-kind tricks himself, and is constantly designing new illusions.
More than anything, Erick Hershey truly loves performing - taking pride in the art of Illusion, and finding joy in the smiles and laughter of audiences everywhere.

Event Shows: I provide my own tables, backdrop (where possible), and sound system. I can also plug into house sound systems via XLR or 1/4" Phono connections. Shows require 45-60 minutes to load-in and set up, and 30-45 minutes to break-down and load out. Whenever time permits I like to meet audience members after the show for photos and signatures - this may extend the load-out time.

Strolling Magic: a secure place to keep and access a small prop case is requested (not required). I supply my own portable/wearable mic sound system.

Table Magic: requires a location where I can set up a small pedestal table. I supply my own sound system which can be used on battery power, but access to a nearby electrical outlet is appreciated when possible.
