Country Boy SangIt

Expect an energetic soulful show mixed with originals and covers you may know. There will be line dancing, sing a long, and I pass the mic around too.

Deandre Perryman aka Country Boy SangIt was born in East St Louis in 1980. He began as choir member in school and in church. From there, Perryman signed his first deal to Dashboard ENTERTAINMENT/Capitol Records via GEM Inc. (phone number hidden)1

Grooming and being poised for stardom out of New York City, a few tragic events transpired (WTC collapse, tragic accident). Perryman overcame those challenges and went on to become a finalist on the hit FOX TV show “American Idol”. Shortly following that, he just so happened to have surgery on his vocals and has to start over vocally, which changed his voice completely; nevertheless, he wasn’t done yet. He started his own entertainment company called Sounz Gud Entertainment and his publishing company called DSTLOU Publishing/ASCAP PRO. Teaming up with Grammy Award winner Rasheem Kilo Pugh, Perryman’s album “Southern Sop” is being considered for a Grammy now, as Country Boy SangIt is executive producer, co-writer, and sole engineer of the project creating a new genre called (Country Soil Music). He got it out the mud.

I bring my own dj so dj set up is very important. I’ll need 2 cordless SHURE microphones and 3 additional mics for backgrounds. I’ll need band plugins, cables, monitors, speakers, mixing board, lights and a spotlight.
