We are able to provide a wide variety of genres for all venues and events and will customize our repertoire based on your preference.

Counseled and Composed, formed in the spring of 2014 by Brian Halliley and Elisa Aven, is an acoustic duo located in sunny South Florida. Their influences include The Weepies, The Civil Wars, Amos Lee, Paul Simon, Head and the Heart, Brandy Carlisle, James Taylor, and The Staves. Brian and Elisa are both board certified music therapists with degrees in music therapy from Nazareth University and Florida State University respectively. Brian and Elisa met in April, 2013 when Elisa was hired as a music therapist at Hospice of Palm Beach County, where Brian was already employed himself. Less than two months later, Brian and Elisa recognized their unique and harmonious bled, not only musically, but romantically as well. They are currently working on both covers and new material.
