📍 Stage & Space Requirements

Minimum stage area:

5-piece band: 12 ft x 16 ft

7–9 piece band: 16 ft x 20 ft (preferred)

A flat, dry, stable surface is required.

Outdoor events must provide adequate shade or cover (tent, canopy, or pavilion) to protect equipment from sun or weather.

🔌 Power Requirements

2 separate 20-amp circuits (standard 120V).
These circuits must be dedicated to the band — not shared with catering, lighting, DJs, or other vendors.

Outlets must be within 25 feet of the stage area.

🔊 Sound System & Audio

Kannection can perform with:

Client-provided professional sound system, or

Band-provided full PA system (additional fee depending on distance/size of event).

Client-provided PA should include:

High-quality main speakers and subwoofers

Monitors (minimum 3 mixes for vocalists + musicians)

Digital mixer preferred (X32, X-Air, QU-16, etc.)

Stage snake or digital stage box

At least 7–12 XLR inputs depending on band size

Competent sound engineer present during soundcheck and show

💡 Lighting Requirements

Basic stage lighting at minimum (static or LED wash).

For evening or indoor events, front-facing lighting is essential so the audience can see performers clearly.

Band can provide lighting upon request (additional fee).

Setup time: 60–90 minutes

Soundcheck: 20–30 minutes (venue must be quiet)

Breakdown: 45–60 minutes

Please schedule load-in access with the venue ahead of time.

🚚 Parking & Loading

Safe, accessible loading area close to the stage entrance.

Nearby parking for multiple band vehicles (cars or van/trailer).

🎵 Set Length & Breaks

Standard performance: 3–4 hours

Typical structure: 3 sets of 45–60 minutes with 10–15 minute breaks
