In a word: professionalism.
Before I was an emcee and speaker, i was a pharmacist. From day one, professionalism is what I was taught, and brought to pharmacy practice for over 15 years. You can expect clear communication, setting expectations for your event, and research into your audience to make sure it is a fun, relatable, appropriate event. Oh, and we'll make sure it's a good time and funny (that is, assuming you'd like your event to have that tone).!

For Keynote speaking, like my emcee work above, you can expect me to communicate well ahead of the event, day of, and to make sure that my topic is a good fit for your event and audience. I speak on applying improv to teams, diabetes and how to be healthy in our modern environment that is set up to make us sick. I can provide keynotes, breakouts, and day long team building workshops.

Cory Jenks is a pharmacist, health coach, emcee, speaker, author and improv comedian on a mission to help people build the health their lives depend on. Since earning his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of South Carolina in 2011, he has challenged the status quo of healthcare, empowering individuals to prevent and reverse chronic disease through practical lifestyle changes. With over a decade of experience in improv comedy, Cory brings humor and relatability to the often-overwhelming world of health and wellness.

Cory is the Co-Host of the Diabetes Remission Roadmap podcast. He is also the author of Permission to Care: Building a Healthcare Culture That Thrives in Chaos, which helps healthcare professionals create a more human-centered approach to patient care. His latest book, I Guess I’m a Dad Now, offers a hilarious and heartfelt guide to surviving and thriving as a new father. In his speaking and comedy career, Cory has hosted events ranging from comedy shows to graduations and healthcare meetings, bringing his unique blend laughter, insight, and professionalism to the stage.

When he’s not speaking, writing, or helping people rethink their health, Cory enjoys harvesting rainwater, getting on stage to tell jokes and coaching baseball. He is currently earning an honorary Master’s Degree in Dad Jokes with the help of his daughter and two sons.
