Corey Colmey is an active educator, performer, clinician, drumset & hand percussion recording artist based in central NY.
As a performer, he's traveled all over the US and abroad, sharing the stage with artists including G Koop, Fiber, Edan, Don Grusin, Jeff Palmer, Rick Montalbano, Joe Magnarelli, & Marc Seales.
As a recording artist, he has collaborated with The Live & Breathe, Heatwarmer, Bad Cello, The Fading Collection, Victoria Vox, & Benjamin Wright. Corey’s most recent work, Live and Breathe, is a collaboration with Berklee College of Music classmates, Benjamin Wright & Christian Arthur.

May 20, 2017Corey did an African drumming presentation for our women's group--it was a very engaging session, about 50 minutes long. He involved members of the group in his workshop, in a non-threatening manner that made it enjoyable even for non-musicians.
