Cooper Project Band

Cooper Project is the brain child of musician/songwriter Henry 'Coop' Cooper. Henry wanted to create something new and creative and yet still remain as entertainment for the masses. Thus was born "Cooper Project" - Jazz & RNB band.
Henry Cooper serves as bassist and band leader for Cooper Project. His profesionalism as well as his attention to musical detail makes the band a success giving it that extra edge needed in such a competitive industry. With over 20 years of experience Henry plays with power that is rare among bass players in the DFW area. Influences include... Stanley Clarke, Victor Wooten , Wayman Tisdale and Marcus Miller just to name a few.

Darrell Webb - guitarist - I have been playing the guitar on a serious level for about 7 years. Played with several DFW area Jazz/RnB/Funk groups: 2AM, Tiffany Blue, and The Cooper Project.
I am currently playing with the RnB/Jazz band "NuPower" and the Gospel Jazz band, "ABANA".
I am heavily influenced by Earl Klugh, Norman Brown, Peter White, Tim Bowman and George Benson and James Taylor.
My taste in muscians go from Genesis to Esperanza Spaulding, so basically I just like good Music no matter what the source.
My goal is to write and perform the music that I believe the DFW area needs: Great rhythms, moving progressions and outstanding lyrics.
