Wow, what a fabulous evening we had at our 55 and older community (Lago Vista). The show was a sell out and Ed and his team of comedians that he brought with him, knocked it out of the park. Great sound system, super professional services, nicest people to deal with and we received so much great feedback from the guests who attended on the comedy. Would gladly recommend and hope to re-book again next year!

I've hired Ed twice for shows I produce in the Chicago area, and both times he showed up on time, sober, and made the audience laugh. He gets along great with the other performers, and mingled with the audience after the show. I will hire him again in 2025 and beyond!

I had booked Ed for my Supportive Living Community as a event for April as April is Humor Month and what's better than laughing! And let me just say Ed did not disappoint! He kept the residents laughing for the whole hour. He talks about real life experiences and people that the residents who are 65 and old know. He is just so personable and down to earth and all around great guy and this guest Kenny who was with him was equally great and we can't wait to have them come back during the summer for a show!

I saw Ed at the Laugh Factory, and he had the whole room laughing from start to finish. His delivery is effortless, and his jokes feel like stories you’d hear from a hilarious friend at a bar except way sharper and perfectly timed. He has a great mix of observational humor and personal stories, and you can tell he genuinely enjoys being on stage. Something I was surprised by was how naturally he interacted with the crowd. A lot of comics I’ve seen try too hard with audience work, but Ed makes it feel completely organic, like he’s just having a conversation. His bits about life in Chicago and getting older had everyone cracking up. My wife and I were talking about it for a week. I recommend you go see him if you have a chance.

I’ve been to about six shows now that Ed has been featured in. He’s incredibly talented, funny and always puts on a great show. If you’re looking for comedy you can relate to, he’s your guy! You won’t be disappointed.

Trying to clear the tears from my eyes to write this review...the comedy is unique, thoughtful, and clean! Ed lends a glimpse into his perspective on life and the relationships we have with family, friends, co-workers, and of course mother in laws!! Laughed from beginning to end! I highly recommend that if you have a chance to see Ed in form, do it, you won't be disappointed!!

Edward Kerfin, a resident of Lockport IL, has a goal – to help people who cannot help themselves. He is the Host of 1340 WJOL Friends Over 50 Fridays from 10:00am-1:00pm on Fridays. A Radio Show dedicated to entertaining and educating Seniors on Health, Finance and Lifestyle issues.
• His team won Business of the Year in 2011
• He won a State-wide award from Mothers Against Drunk Drivers for their community service.
He has a beautiful daughter, Caitie, who graduated from Mizzou and two Beautiful granddaughters . He is a former Fireman and EMT who is a member of the Masons, Scottish Right and Shriners. He is very involved with local communities through involvement with Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce. He served on the Board of Directors for the Lockport Chamber of Commerce and Child Resource and Referral as well as the Advisory Board for Leeza’s Place at Provena St. Joe.
