February 18, 2025I saw Ed at the Laugh Factory, and he had the whole room laughing from start to finish. His delivery is effortless, and his jokes feel like stories you’d hear from a hilarious friend at a bar except way sharper and perfectly timed. He has a great mix of observational humor and personal stories, and you can tell he genuinely enjoys being on stage. Something I was surprised by was how naturally he interacted with the crowd. A lot of comics I’ve seen try too hard with audience work, but Ed makes it feel completely organic, like he’s just having a conversation. His bits about life in Chicago and getting older had everyone cracking up. My wife and I were talking about it for a week. I recommend you go see him if you have a chance.

Edward Kerfin, a resident of Lockport IL, has a goal – to help people who cannot help themselves. He is the Host of 1340 WJOL Friends Over 50 Fridays from 10:00am-1:00pm on Fridays. A Radio Show dedicated to entertaining and educating Seniors on Health, Finance and Lifestyle issues.
• His team won Business of the Year in 2011
• He won a State-wide award from Mothers Against Drunk Drivers for their community service.
He has a beautiful daughter, Caitie, who graduated from Mizzou and two Beautiful granddaughters . He is a former Fireman and EMT who is a member of the Masons, Scottish Right and Shriners. He is very involved with local communities through involvement with Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce. He served on the Board of Directors for the Lockport Chamber of Commerce and Child Resource and Referral as well as the Advisory Board for Leeza’s Place at Provena St. Joe.
