MAGIC
It's not only magic ... you see, it is an audience participation, situation comedy magic, zany antics, escapes, mentalism ... it is 45 minutes of fast-paced, PG-rated fun that has made many people laugh till they cry! I have brought my comedy to China, Malaysia, South Africa, England, Canada, and 46 US States.

HYPNOSIS
Our two-person comedy hypnosis show, we call "Misty and The SandMan." It is our most popular act. HUGE for high school events; we do between 25-35 of them each year for post-prom parties, grad night parties, and misc. other events. We do a lot of fairs, festivals, and amusement parks. We love doing college and doing more and more corporate events now. We have performed for country clubs, cruise ships, casinos, and comedy clubs - but the comedy clubs never bring us back. We are "to clean." We do our share of employee and client appreciation events, dinner shows, and private parties.

Our shows are fast-paced. We have 44 music cues in our 45-minutes to 90-minute hypnosis show.

I am often requested to do my magic act and our hypnosis show as a comedy concert that lasts approximately 2 hours.

MISTY AND THE SANDMAN - This is a two-person comedy hypnosis show—fast-paced, clean, and all-audience-appropriate. We do about 100-150 shows a year for corporate events, house parties, fairs, festivals, high schools, an occasional casino, college, or cruise ship.

THE MAGICAL COMEDY OF ALAN SANDS - I am a third-generation comedy magician. My show uses audience participation, and I do a bit of mentalism, magic, escapes, and zany antics that will entertain any audience.

MISTY KNIGHT TAROT - A lifetime of studying and practicing hypnosis makes Misty almost psychic in her ability to read people and letting the cards guild her, she tells your guests what the cards mean, and they translate them for themselves.

I can write volumes about who we are, where we have been, what we have done, and who all we have entertained, from celebrity individuals to fortune 500 companies, leading universities, and more - but we live by the motto: it isn't what we have done that you will remember, it is what we do for you...

If I drive, I bring my own sound system. if I fly, I need a professional sound system suitable for the size of the crowd and venue (see: (link hidden) for more info on sound, lights and stage)
I always pay for my own plane tickets and rental cars. this is worked into the price of my services, which normally begin at $1,500 and go up; though occasionally I do local gigs for as little as $600.00.
If I fly, I need you to supply a hotel room - without bed bugs please. No, I'm not joking, really!
I price myself on being fairly low-maintenance, but a client must understand that if my show can not be seen clearly, if the subjects and volunteers are not save on a platform large enough to hold myself and up to 12 volunteers, if the sound system is not clear and professional then the show hurts - and I really do want to have every opportunity to do the very best show possible for you. I'm not anal, but I like to say, "you don't move bails of star with a family station wagon. You need a Pick Up." The same goes for the tools a performer needs to do his best.
