Akintunde: Minister of Comedy and Media
Akintunde Warnock is a gifted comedian, actor, writer, director, and producer whose
career spans over three decades, dedicated to the ministry of comedy and media. With
a calling to deliver clean, faith-based humor, Akintunde has earned a reputation as a
leader in Christian entertainment. His work has graced the screens of BET’s *Comic
View*, *Showtime at The Apollo*, TBN’s *Praise The Lord*, *The Mo’Nique Show*, and
*Sister Circle*, among others. As a seasoned writer, Akintunde has contributed to over
350 hours of original television programming, holding development and distribution
agreements with major networks such as USA Network/NBC Universal, BET Networks,
E-One Entertainment, and Arrow Records.
In 2024, Akintunde embarked on a series of projects that highlight his unwavering
commitment to spreading the Gospel through high-quality, family-friendly entertainment.
WF Media Group, the production company he co-founded with his wife, Eunissa
Warnock, continues to rise as a leader in the urban faith-based media landscape. This
year, WF Media Group signed a significant agreement with Sirius XM/Pandora, covering
70% of the audio market, and secured a distribution deal for Akintunde’s comedy
special, *Because I Said So*, with Legacy Distribution. These developments are part of
an ambitious slate of projects under the WF Media Group banner, all designed to bring
laughter and joy into homes across the nation.
Among these projects is the *First Sundays* comedy series, a monthly live event in
Columbia, SC, that has become a cornerstone of the local Christian comedy scene. The
best moments from these shows will be featured in *The Best of First Sundays Volumes
1 thru 3*, a television series produced in partnership with Fisher Films. Additionally,
*Healthy Laughter*, a comedy special shot last year, is set to be released as a television
special, with plans to evolve into a weekly series. This project, a collaboration with
Central Productions, blends humor with messages of wellness and spiritual growth,
showcasing Akintunde's unique approach to ministry through comedy.
Further expanding his ministry, Akintunde has launched Joke Farm Records, an imprint
under WF Media Group dedicated to producing clean, urban comedy. The label is
poised to play a vital role in the company’s growth strategy, with upcoming releases
including *Healthy Laughter Volume 1* and audio content from the *First Sundays*
series.
Beyond the stage and screen, Akintunde continues to touch lives through *The Love &
Laughter Tour*, a nationwide comedy tour that has been warmly received by audiences
across the country. Each performance is a testament to his belief in the power of
laughter as a ministry tool, capable of uplifting spirits and drawing people closer to God.
Akintunde’s contributions to Christian entertainment have not gone unnoticed. In July
2024, he returned to the 39th Annual Stellar Awards, serving as a production host and
red carpet pre-show co-host. His presence at this prestigious event, along with his
ongoing projects, reaffirms his position as a leading figure in faith-based entertainment,
continually expanding the reach and impact of his ministry.
With a feature film set for release in 2025 and several other projects in development,
Akintunde’s influence in the industry is destined to grow. His dedication to creating
content that not only entertains but also ministers and uplifts is a true reflection of his
calling, making him a respected and cherished figure in the world of Christian comedy

TRAVEL
~ Purchaser will provide a Travel Stipend in the amount of: $500.00 (TAA will make travel arrangements and forward to PURCHASER/MINISTRY.
~ Artist or management will schedule all travel accommodations.
~ Purchaser will provide Ground transportation for the duration of the Artist’s Performance, i.e. to Venue, back to Hotel, etc.

DRESSING ROOM
~ Purchaser to furnish one clean, private, well lit, well ventilated, capable of being locked dressing room with full-length mirror for exclusive use of Artist.
~ Purchaser shall provide an adequate quantity of bottled water, Ginger Ale and meals for the Artist and his assistant.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
~ Purchaser agrees to provide and pay for ONE (1) minimum 3-Star hotel rooms (Non-Smoking, King) for the full duration of the Artist’s stay and any agreed upon promotions prior to the event.
~ Please check room in (with full coverage of Room, Tax and Incidentals). Artist will not charge any incidentals without the permission of the Purchaser/Ministry. However, the Artist will be not present a card to the Hotel upon Check-in.

MERCHANDISING
~ Artist reserves the right to sell exclusive merchandise to patrons with no profit obligations or percentages to go to venue or purchaser.
~ One (1) person will be provided by the Purchaser to assist with merchandising.
~ Purchaser provides artist with one (1) six foot long table placed in the lobby or entry/exit area in clear view of show patrons.

RECORDING AND DUPLICATION POLICY
~ The Artist’s performance SHALL NOT be recorded without the expressed written consent Of the Artist, or an authorized representative of the Artist. Recording, Duplication, and/or Sale of the Artist’s Performance, Packaged Copy written materials Sold or distributed by Artist or the Artist’s likeness is STRICTLY Prohibited.

CANCELLATION POLICY
~ In the event this date is cancelled by said Purchaser, due to natural disaster, or the threat thereof, the Artist retains the deposit and the Purchaser has the option to move the date to an available date for the talent and the Purchaser. If the Purchaser cancels the event within four (4) weeks of the event, the Purchaser will remit full balance of the agreement to the Artist and reserves the option to re-schedule at a later date convenient to both parties. In the event this date is cancelled by said Artist, the Artist agrees to refund all fees and deposits paid. In the event this date is cancelled by said Artist, due to natural disaster or the threat thereof, illness, debilitating disease or hospitalization (events outside of the Artist’s control), the Artist reserves the right to move the date to a date that is good for both Artist and Purchaser.

MARKETING
~ The Artist’s NAME, LIKENESS, BRAND, or IMAGE must be the derived from THE ASSIGNMENT AGENCY only. LIKEWISE, the Artist’s NAME, LIKENESS, BRAND (“AKINTUNDE”, COMEDIAN AKINTUNDE, OR “THE REBIRTH OF COMEDY”); or IMAGE (picture) may NOT be used prior to required SECURITY DEPOSIT AND/OR TRAVEL STIPEND is received and receipt confirmed by The Assignment Agency, as stated in this contract.
