Katu_King: With roots in hip-hop dated back to his very own father's foot in lyrical hip-hop since the late 80's to present day. Katu first took the stage as his father's hype for years, touring all over the Northeast states and even traveling to GA for his biggest audience at the Holy Hip-hop awards of 2005. Graduating 2 years early at the age of 16, He began becoming more and more interested in creating his own works of art through musical production. Still grounded and connected with the styles of Christian Hip-Hop, Katu slowly transformed his music over the years, clearing his own path as a new musical artist. Officially taking his music to the public in 2012 after meeting D-Jay, Katu learned how to use his developed wordplay, creative mind for producing, and love for the English language to Co-found Coma Goat.

D-Jay the Architect: Music was one of D-Jay's deepest loves but never had he thought he possessed the talent to rap and produce. What started as acting in high school became a dream to write, film and act under his own production company. That would be his ultimate goal, until he had met Katu who not only pushed and praised D-Jay back into poetry but challenged his lyrical skills; something D-Jay took to heart. Using words to create your most beautiful pictures, under the right beat to create the right mood, D-Jay took it upon himself to paint these stories that have every intention to change the world.

Together, Katu_King and D-Jay the Architect formed the most creative collective in NC.
