July 17, 2022Awesome addition to our wedding!
Columbia was great. We had a small campsite wedding in the canyon, and amplified music was not allowed. He played the songs we chose for our significant dances, and then played a great mix of classics during our reception. We wouldn’t have changed anything! He was very professional and timely as well.

Solo: Some events I have played at were simple cocktail parties for businessmen. For those I have been the perfect mix of background noise that can also turn heads.
One Man Band: My bread-and-butter, the One Man Band is what took me on cross-country tours. 4 limb coordination plus a little live looping makes it a performance you or your guests will not forget. Patrons will be blown away by my ease of switching from indie folk to classic blues or country to classic rock. All while using just about every limb of my body.
Duo: I can bring along a stand up bass player. Not only does this add a rhythm for guests to tap along too, it opens up the performance to a little more creativity. Maybe its a long bluegrass jam or a soulful number. I've played this setup at raucous weddings or quiet ballets.
Trio: Dial it up a notch with the trio. Classic rock and blues covers with some hair raising jams that will get everyone moving.
Full band: The full band has played events big and small: from entire towns to backyard BBQs. Crowds are amazed at not only the level of talent, but the way we deliver amazing covers that get everyone up and moving. Featuring electric guitar, bass, drums, and a keyboard or trumpet player. We can even bring on an entire horn section for the ultimate "wow" factor. There's a reason this band has played so many great events.
About
As a jack-of-all-trades, Columbia Jones has done a lot in 15 years of performing.. He was a 2 year finalist in the Telluride Blues and Brews compeition. He adopted the folk singer mentality and ethos touring solo across the country and he is a a deep lover of country music's story-telling.. But Columbia Jones is neither a blues, folk, or Country artist. He is purely American. His stories are reflections of our own lives.
Growing up, Columbia felt out of place with the world around him. When he started searching for new music in places other than mainstream radio, that was where he felt at home. He heard stories that he could relate to. Struggles that he had had. He found people he could look up to. Suddenly, he fund someone likfe him the world.
Today, he wants to bring that back. Art is what makes us human. No AI can replicate that. No fancy record label can pay an artist to create that. It has to come from the heart. From lived experiences good and terrible. Columbia has lived those experiences of triumph and heart break. All are on display in his music. All of it is real. All of it comes with an invitation to listen, to connect, and to feel like you are not alone
