Guests can expect a fun, organized, hands-on creative experience led by a friendly professional instructor. We arrive with the materials, set up the activity, explain the project clearly, and guide the group step by step.

Our events are designed to feel relaxed, social, and beginner-friendly. Guests do not need any art experience. We keep the instructions simple, offer demonstrations when needed, and help each person feel comfortable participating.

Depending on the event, guests may paint, work with clay, decorate items, make candles, create mosaics, build a craft project, or take part in a custom art activity. We can work with children, adults, families, corporate groups, schools, nonprofits, weddings, and private parties.

We handle the creative flow, materials, basic cleanup, and activity guidance so the host can enjoy the event. The goal is for guests to have a memorable shared experience and leave with something they made themselves.

What began as free outdoor painting lessons in Chicago has grown into a full creative studio serving private parties, children’s events, corporate team-building, weddings, nonprofit events, school programs, date nights, and community gatherings.

We offer painting, pottery, mosaics, candle making, mixed-media projects, craft stations, live art, and custom creative activities. Events can take place at our studio or at homes, offices, schools, venues, and event spaces throughout Chicagoland.

Our goal is simple: make art feel welcoming, social, organized, and fun. Whether guests are young children, adults, coworkers, families, or complete beginners, we create experiences that help people relax, connect, and leave proud of what they made.

Color Cocktail Factory is led by a professionally trained artist with graduate-level study at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and years of teaching and event experience.

Color Cocktail Factory is flexible and can adapt to a wide range of event spaces, but we strongly recommend hosting events at our studio whenever possible. Our venue offers a fully immersive creative environment where guests are surrounded by kilns, pottery wheels, clay slabs, glazes, and a wide variety of professional tools and materials. This setting allows for more creative options and a relaxed experience where guests can comfortably make a little mess without worry.

For off-site events, we provide all necessary art materials, tools, table coverings, and supplies required for the selected workshop. No specialized lighting, sound, or staging is needed. We typically require tables, chairs, and access to a standard electrical outlet when available. Adequate indoor or shaded outdoor space is recommended.

Setup time is usually 30–45 minutes prior to the event, with additional time afterward for breakdown and cleanup. Specific space needs vary by activity and are confirmed in advance to ensure a smooth experience.
