Hanako Duffie is a collaborative pianist based in Washington D.C., and has extensive experience playing with vocalists, instrumentalists, choirs, orchestras, and other professional ensembles in a variety of genres and styles. Hanako enjoys playing for recitals, weddings, cocktail hours and parties, recording sessions, and any event in collaboration with other musicians! She has worked extensively as a musical theatre pit orchestra keyboardist, and has knowledge of MainStage and programming keyboard patches. Hanako is currently pursuing a masters degree in collaborative piano from the University of Maryland, studying with Rita Sloan.
