Overview
Born near the river bottoms of Leonard, Oklahoma and raised across the state’s sweeping plains, Cody Brewer comes by his Americana, folk and bluegrass roots honestly. The inspiration and heart of his music is deeply informed by his surroundings, his family and his life experiences.
“My father and grandfather instilled the basic building blocks of bluegrass and country, and from that foundation, I have developed a more complex sound from my later musical influences in the jam, folk and jazz scenes.”
Inspired by the songwriting of Jeff Tweedy, Bob Dylan and Blake Mills, he aims to pay homage by documenting his point of view and the duality of this particular moment in time.

What to expect
I provide several different performances. These include full four-piece band that can range from Americana, Rock, Funk, Jazz, Blues, Folk, Bluegrass. Truly open to cater it towards your event. Also, I can provide solo, duo or trio performances. Instrumentation ranges from depending on what genre/style your looking for (drums, guitar, bass, banjo). I can provide a PA system, sound engineer, play music in between sets for an extra charge.
