Leading up to the event: We have a quick phone call or text exchange to go over any details on how I can best show up for you.

The day of: I am on time or early. If I'm bringing my sound system, I arrive with plenty of set-up time.
I meet you (or your representative) in person, confirm where I'm meant to perform, and get to work filling your event space with dynamic, engaging music.
I am completely self-contained; no one has to think about me once I am set up.
If a performance is longer than 90 minutes, I may take a 10-minute break, during which I cam play house music through my PA.

Once I'm done, I'll pack up and be on my way - no action required on your part. I remain affable and unobtrusive when not onstage.
Guests at events where I perform often leave their hosts with enthusiastic positive feedback about the music!

In the days after, I'll thank you for the opportunity, and ask you to leave me a review. I'm always happy to return!

Asher Coda

I've been playing music since before my memories begin. My parents started me on piano and violin at age 4; by 8, I was performing in U.S. Embassies across Europe. At 12, I picked up the guitar, and there was no turning back. At 16, I was recording original material in studios in Jerusalem. At 20, I was touring the U.S.A., and at 25, I was touring Japan. I now live in Virginia, where I work as a musician, events creator, and music producer. I continue to write and record original music with my wife McKinley and our cat, Elvis.

As of this writing in 2026, I've performed live over 450 times, with over 30 different bands across 3 continents.
What these numbers don't convey is the pure joy that music brings to me. This is what I'm here on Earth to do; hiring me brings not just my experience, but my earnest enthusiasm and dedication to elevating your special occasion as much as possible.

Recent work:
• Full-time guitarist for rock band Goodtime Alibi. This year we've played as direct support for acts including The Offspring and Darius Rucker.
• Over 200 shows as primary guitarist for Disney's Encanto, as featured on Fox 5 News. I also created studio-quality backing tracks for the entire production.
• Guitars for still.teddy of Foxy Shazam - 3 studio releases and on tour, since 2024.
• House accompanist for the twice-monthly open mic that I host in Vienna, VA, where I learn and perform 30-50 songs per month for different vocalists.
• Session and backing musician for local groups including Richie Gomez, Gav Ra, Shelley Star & The Galaxy, Religious Experience, The Juicy Leaches, Satellite Salesmen, FAZ Band, and more.
• Booked and ran a music festival in Manassas, VA in August 2026.
• Composer and performer of original music with MLEMON, my duo. We’ve released 10 studio albums since 2020 and appear locally.

Whether you bring me in to perform completely acoustic, fill a room with music using my PA and microphones, or play an amplified electric guitar, I am fully self-contained. If using amplification, I just need access to one electrical outlet near the performance area.
