August 14, 2025Engaging and Professional Musician
We had the pleasure of hiring Brent to perform at several of our broker open house luxury property events, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment guests walked in, the music created a warm, elegant, and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the setting.
Brent's professionalism, punctuality, and friendly demeanor made working together seamless. He has a great catalog of music and it undoubtedly elevated the overall experience for everyone who attended. I highly recommend Brent for any event where quality, sophistication, and a touch of magic are desired.

July 28, 2025Made our Hotel Chelsea wedding even more magical
Brent delivered a sublime session from start to finish, showing up at the historic Hotel Chelsea looking as impeccable as he sounded on the keys. My wife and I can recommend him enthusiastically, as his sound underscored and elevated what was already the best night of our lives.

About
Hi! I'm Brent Morden. I'm a music director, composer, pianist, vocalist, and educator born and raised in Queens, New York. I specialize in cocktail jazz piano for events of all types throughout the Tri-State Area: weddings, dinners, galas, receptions, and more.
Outside of jazz piano, I direct the Pep Band at Columbia University and the Vocal Jazz Ensemble at Hofstra University. I serve on the faculty at From Stage to Screen Performing Arts Academy in Huntington, where I maintain an active roster of private voice and piano students. I've conducted my own music at Carnegie Hall and Off-Broadway, and was recognized as NY1's New Yorker of the Week in November 2024.
I've been grateful to develop a wide-ranging career in music, education, and nonprofit since graduating from Columbia University in 2019. It would be my pleasure to serve your needs as you plan your perfect event.
I look forward to hopefully meeting you soon, dear reader!
